Authentication

Jetro uses Firebase Authentication (operated by Google) for sign-in. When you create an account or sign in, Firebase processes your email address and authentication credentials. Firebase may set cookies or tokens on your device to maintain your session.

Firebase Authentication is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. We only receive your email address from Firebase. We do not have access to your password.

We will never use your email for marketing, newsletters, or spam. It is used solely for authentication and account-related communication.

Local-first architecture

Jetro is designed local-first. Your data lives on your machine in plain files. We cannot access your workspace. The only data that touches our servers is authentication tokens, data API requests (transient, not stored), and shared content (only when you explicitly choose to share).

Data deletion

Delete your account at any time via the extension settings. We remove your authentication record from Firebase and usage data from our servers within 30 days. Your local data stays on your machine, untouched.
