1. Acceptance

By installing or using Jetro (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Jetro is a software extension for code editors (VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf) that provides AI-powered research, analytics, and visualization capabilities. The Service includes both free and paid tiers.

3. Account & Authentication

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary skill prompts or templates
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to generate or distribute financial advice as a licensed service without appropriate regulatory compliance
  • Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions

5. Data & Privacy

Your research data stays on your local machine. We do not access, store, or process your workspace files. API requests pass through our servers but are not logged or stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Intellectual Property

Skill prompts, templates, scoring methodologies, and backend logic are proprietary to Jetro. Content you create using the Service (canvases, notes, analyses, deployed apps) belongs to you.

7. Disclaimer

Jetro provides tools for research and analysis. It does not provide financial advice. Investment decisions are your responsibility. Past performance data presented through the Service does not guarantee future results.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. Jetro is not liable for investment losses, data loss, or service interruptions. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
